Proposed Town Center

This is a conceptual site plan for a proposed new Andrews Town Center to be located at the old site of the Andrews Memorial Hospital.

It is projected to include the new building of a rural clinic with helipad, the rehab of an existing building as the Town Hall and Police Station, and an organic farm with a produce stand on the Main Street.

Featured as part of the municipal complex is envisioned a Cherokee Indian Mound Museum and a Town Clock Tower that will feature an honor roll of those that contributed to the original hospital that was formerly on the site. Also envisioned is the integration of the Andrews Housing Authority complex via walking trails and landscape features. A new landscaped traffic rotary devise which will direct traffic to the new town center and the historic downtown.

This is all a work in progress and eventually will include a proposed plan for the re-landscaping of the streetscape of the historic downtown, the development of an arts complex in the historic downtown and a proposed master site plan of the integrated connection of the historic downtown to the new town center.
